Not a straight line from A to B — sales, Salesforce, a few years as a pro gamer, a startup exit, and back to building. Here's how it actually went.
Got a computer as a young child and never really looked away from a screen since — tech was the constant, everything else changed around it.
First job was in sales. Learned how to talk to people, handle rejection, and close — none of which shows up on a CV line but all of which turned out to matter later.
We used Salesforce in that sales role. I started building my own reports to track my numbers, turned out to be good at it, and taught myself the rest on the job.
Quit the job to play competitively for a few years. Not the obvious next step for a career, but it's where the appetite for competing and iterating fast came from.
Returned to Salesforce work — same craft, more conviction the second time round.
Quit again to join an esports startup as one of the founding team. Ended up touching sales, marketing, product, code, and commercial strategy — whatever the business needed that week. Learned more in that stretch than anywhere else.
Grew rib.gg into a market-leading platform and sold the business in early 2025.
Back in Salesforce, now running CRM for a growing business — while building and shipping my own apps alongside it.
I like to read, learn, and stay sharp outside of work as much as in it — most of that shows up in what I do with spare time.
Happy to swap notes on Salesforce, RevOps, startups, or a game of chess.
